Some statements by the author are totally absurd. E.g., the one ’lakhs and lakhs of tons of onion was used to shield the radiation during pokhran test, by which the price of onion shot up to 60-70Rs, which prompted her to stop buying onion from market once for all’.. reveals her poor common sense. Unfortunately such statements make this work a very poor one.

One of the best books I have recently read...... though simple in language and style, it really depicts the dark sides and superstitious beliefs which enriched the 18 th century kerala..... the descriptions are so picturise that they make an experience of seeing thigs in person.... Congrats to the author... its a pleasure for me to recommend this work to all my friends who love the world of books....
