Ask him why he chose photography as a career, and Salim Pushpanath would say it was a profession where he could address a vast spectrum of people. Salim, 30, is a much sought after photographer today. After a short stint in marketing, he took up photography as a full-time occupation. He specialises in nature and wildlife photography and has published 12 titles so far, including Kerala-The Greeen Miracle; Periyar-Spices&Wildlife; Kumarakom-Coconut Lagoon &Backwaters and Lakshadweep-The Tropical Paradise. He also runs the Picture Gallery, which boasts of a collection of more than 5000 colour transparencies on varied subjects, that cater to the demands of his customers ranging from small and agencies to corporate houses.
Yet, he says he is still leaning!
